GUILLERMO SALAZAR ENRIQUE lettuce (* 1982 ...)

I am a self taught artist with an innate gift, with 10 years of experience, implement a style based on movement of curved lines and circles, with the passing of the years I perfected my work, reflecting on it every moment of my mind of my imagination, my reality and my environment (mental and physical elements).

I believe that artistic expression will always be an impression of the author's soul, the need to express the need to translate our feelings, whether on paper, canvas, clay, wood, etc. is inherent and necessary.

I am a lover and believer of abstract art, I believe in expressing my deepest feelings, insisting on creating without a preconceived idea, I believe and argue that just as we admire a sunset without asking him represents something, a box should be enjoyed for what it represents not only because it's beautiful. (Principle of the school of abstract art) a work of art is to reflect an object without being a beautiful object, hence it does not present any reference to the surrounding reality.

Artistic Work Experience:

In July 2003 was my first presentation at the Bodeguita del Centro is located on the 12th street between 3rd. And 4th. Zone 1 Avenue from downtown.

In my second exhibition I present from 05 to 19 September 2003 at the Centro Cultural Metropolitano 7th. 11-67 Avenue Zone 1 of the Historic Centre (Old Post Office Building) with the assistance of Mr. Luis Leiva, then director of Folio 114, literary movement.

During the 10, 11 and 12 August 2006 directed the development of the paintings "Four Thousand Chronicles and Punishment" an installation of a 4-piece polyptych Its dimensions are as follows: 2 mts. High by 3 meters. Long, using a technique called early twentieth century ACTION PAINTING (PAINTING IN ACTION) by Jackson Pollock. I worked with the inmates of the detention centers in the metropolitan area: Preventive Men in zone 18, Santa Teresa Women's Prison zone 18, COF Women's Correctional Centre and Annex 1 (Pavoncito) in Fraijanes. This work was based on the first phase of Occupational Therapy Plan Abstract Art Pictorial, emphasizing the "cathartic" (Purification of the soul) of each Private Libertad them to participate in the work managed to experience some kind of freedom to the routine that usually tend to have in prison, while managed to channel a portion of their aches downloading or repressed emotions negative on each piece of art. The reaction was deeper than at the beginning of each piece the authors began to work somewhat skeptical, incredulous of the activity, after a few minutes change the attitude, will see that the paint when mixed and combined starts moving, giving thousands of color scheme, finally, the activity was a success and they and they were released and managed to get out of their surrounding reality for a few minutes, felt the peace that creates the painting process. Upon completion of the work, each of the 19 executed inmates he shared the different emotions to discover that the paint spill fact could do something nice and beautiful to the eye also something interesting, new and not so common.

Day 31 of the same month, the complete work was presented at the National Palace of Culture in celebrating the close of the First Week of Culture Prison, as part of multicultural activity for the benefit of the inmates of the Penitentiary System Guatemala.

From then until the date of production and overcome personal blocks of inspiration, but always dreaming, creating and producing Ilapso soul.
